It was another wonderful morning for this Jacksonville Newborn Photography session. I was very excited to meet this new little baby, as I am always amazed at the tiny newborn that I am entrusted with to photograph. I had spoken over the phone with mom before this little one arrived, so that I could gather ideas on her vision for the photos. I could not wait to exceed all of her hopes for the photo session. I loaded up my car with all the essential newborn photo session gear, and headed on the road to meet this sweet little girl.

As I arrived to my client's home, I saw that the little baby was sweetly bundled and fast asleep. She was so tiny, and absolutely precious. As I set up my beanbag, blankets, and props, I enjoyed chatting with mom and she fed Lucille to get her all nice and comfortable for her photo session. We chatted about birth, family, adjusting to two kids, and everything in between. She was so comfortable to be around, and I really enjoyed our time together.
Newborns love to be warm and cozy (don't we all?!) so I made sure to get the white noise and heat just right for her. As we started the session, this precious baby did NOT want to sleep! However, she was the most content awake newborn I have ever seen! She loved looking around, and just being in the moment. She hardly ever cried. I was able to capture a few awake shots of her, then I swaddled her up, and she fell right asleep. After that, we moved to the beanbag for some sleepy photographs, and she was AMAZING.
Mom had one very important and special request for this session. Lucille's older sister was photographed in daddy's arms as a newborn. Mom really wanted to capture a very similar photo, so we made sure to grab dad for a few shots as well. Lucille was an absolutely good sport about it, and gave us what we needed! Mom was thrilled, and so was I. I cannot wait to see this sweet family again soon.
