As a Jacksonville newborn photographer, meeting families and their new babies never gets old! This family was so amazing to work with. As soon as I arrived for their newborn photoshoot, dad was beaming with pride. He was so proud of his gorgeous wife, for the life that she just brought into this world, and of course he had nothing but pride and love for his beautiful new daughter.
Jacksonville Newborn Photography | Baby G
When I was first introduced to mom, I was shocked that she just gave birth! She looked absolutely stunning! Then I met baby G, and she was just as beautiful as her mother! I couldn't wait to photograph them. As I set up all of my equipment, lighting, etc. mom gave little G a feeding and then we started right away!
First, we started with family portraits. I am always so happy when parents decide to be in the pictures. Even though you might be feeling tired (understandably!), I always tell parents that they will NOT regret being in the photoshoot. It is always so wonderful to be able to look back on these moments together, and remember just how tiny your child was. The way they used to fit in dad's hands, and the way they felt snuggled up to mom's cheek. And let me tell you, baby G absolutely ROCKED her first family family photos! You'll see what I mean below!
After that, we took a small break for baby girl to have another feeding, and to change up the props to photograph her by herself. Once again, she nailed every pose; I don't think I heard any crying at all! She was so laid back and a joy to work with.
After our session, mom and dad had the chance to review all of their portraits. They decided to order a photoblock wall gallery as a keepsake. They are going to be absolutely in love with this! It is something that will stay in their family for years to come, and I can't wait to see if hanging in their home!
