Jacksonville Newborn Photography | Jacksonville Photography | Twins

It is such an honor when a family returns to me to for newborn portraits. Watching families grow is such an amazing privilege to be a part of. I originally met this sweet family earlier in 2017 for their oldest daughter's one year cake smash and family portraits on the beach. The family of three was so sweet and easy to work with, so you can imagine how excited I was to have the opportunity to work with them again with their double blessings; TWINS!

When mom first contacted me about newborn pictures, I was so excited! One baby is always great, but two babies are double the fun! We started brainstorming and planning mom's vision for newborn pictures with with her twins, and decided to stick with neutrals and soft pastels. These always seem to be a favorite with parents because of the classic, timeless look that will always be appreciated.

On the morning of our session, my assistant and I arrived at the family's home, found a perfect place to set up, and went to work! While we set up, mom fed the babies so that they would be nice and content to start their photoshoot! Sometimes, with twins, we are often working with alternating schedules. So, while one baby fed, the other was photographed individually until sister was ready. After that, they switched off, until they were both ready to be photographed together. This is where the magic happens! Newborn twins are absolutely amazing to me. This pair was so happy to be snuggled together, that they gave us some absolutely amazing portraits together.

After our session, we met again for the ordering appointment. This is the fun part! Juggling newborns and trying to order portraits is no easy task. It is my goal to make this as easy as possible for every family, so that they can have beautiful art to show off in their home.
